Breakfast buffet is always very good with different selections each day, as is the case with the dinner buffet when it’s on. If not dinner buffet, a la carte available. Reliable a/c, plenty of hot water for showers, and comfy beds in a good location. Pool is long enough for decent laps, with a well-equipped gym including sauna. Spa and massages available for additional cost. Staff are very friendly and helpful in all aspects.

Would prefer a shower stall rather than shower over bath. Hall carpets are a little dated but overall, this hotel is very good value for money imho

The buffet breakfast ... not much variety

Room facilities are complete, and the bathroom is very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and there was so much variety of food. The staff are friendly. It Is close to the mall and train stations.

I love the breakfast provided here!! The service is great too, even for my colleague who is a vegan, they tried their best to fulfill his needs!

The staff was really friendly and smiling all the time in a truly Indonesian spirit. This and a glass of juice offered at check in were the probably the only positive things I can say about this hotel. The water was running from the taps - that would be a third...

For starters, my door was malfunctioning and kept blocking me out of my room so I spent almost all day shuttling between my floor and reception and asking people to let me into my own room! (From a fried who spent some time in another Harris Hotel in Jakarta I hear that it was not a one-time thing). At the end I was moved to another room which was noisy (I asked for a quiet room as I had to work during the day), had blocked drains, locked safety deposit box (which took another full day of repeated asking at reception to have it reset), mould around the washing basin and windows that didn't shut properly. That meant that not only the noise from the nearby highways and the usual Jakarta traffic got in all the time but also that my AC had to be on full power all the time just to keep the room at a manageable temperature. The problem was, the AC unit was rattling quite loudly too. In effect, I could neither work nor sleep. From minor things, that are not something extremely important but added to my whole experience of Harris Hotels, the public areas (lifts, lobby, reception) were not air conditioned (or at least they seemed not to be). This also included the fitness room. When I asked the staff person in the gym to lower the temperature (I was sweating even before I started my training) I was told that it is 18degC there and nothing could be done because it is not hot. The setting on the AC unit indeed showed 18degC but that was a setting, not a reading. But how do you explain that to a smiling barely-English-speaking man? So I went to the pool. Good sized and fairly clean but situated in such a way that you have the sun in your face while swimming, which in itself would not be a problem neccessarily but combined with a sharp-angled protrusion of the wall at the end made it plainly dangerous. The bed sheets and towels were yellowish-greyish and my bathrobe had a huge stain at the front.

Room 728 given was run down. 2 bulbs in room were out, wash basin badly cracked, stained bath tub and condition of room uncomfortable to sleep in .. Informed personally Front desk staff about room condition and we requested another room.. He offered to move us. Since we were on our way out told him that next day first thing to move.. He noted. Next day when I called front desk about the move staff on duty that time told us rooms were all full and need to wait for guest to check out before he can move us. Then asked me to call again and talk to the same staff who took note of my request previously. Told us he comes in on his next shift at 9.00. When I called front desk and talked to the staff, he acted quite blank about the whole thing. He said will check availability of room and call back. Already so upset by now. Still no call, about an hour later we went down to the front desk. Saw the staff and asked again. He said he didn't know that we wanted to move that morning. He then totally ignored us and moved on to assist another guest. By then we were really furious with his unprofessional and 'couldn't care less' attitude in handling guests'complains/ requests.. Very unsatisfied and unhappy! A leisure weekend became a stressful and an unsatisfied one!!!

Close to mall & the aircon worked pretty good.

The bathroom was... disgusting to put it nicly. Dirty floor, stained walls, roof panels falling off.

second time staying here which was pre-booked so had no choice, this time we got a cleaner room.

The aircon made no difference & the floor level we stayed on smelled of smoke

even in the middle of city, they have bath up, so i can relax in warm water, quiet enough, mini bar and safety box in room, so i fell safe when i going around, location near from Kota Kasablanka Mall only 5 minute walking

Location and friendly staff

Gym was terrible. 4 of the 5 treadmills were not working and could cause serious injuries because they would suddenly stop while running. Reported to Manager who kept saying they will be fixed but did not.

The room is spacious

Check in process took forever. The bed is not comfortable, the room look not well maintained. Spider web everywhere. Breakfast was not special.

They charge us for parking fee even tho we're staying. The parking lot staff kept saying that we have to go to the receptionist to get the free pass, but even we already went to receptionist and get the pass, the parking lot staff kept charging us.
